6-Chloro-3-indolyl-b-D-galactopyranosid. Rose-Gal ist ein ß-Galactosidasesubstrat das eine lachsfarbene Farbe ergibt. Es wird als Alternative zu X-Gal für die enzymatische Detektion von Lac+ Bakterienkolonien genommen.
