Neurogenax 500mL

Basic serum free medium for growth of hippocampus cells and many other neurons of the central nervous system. A feeder layer of astrocytes is not required. Neurogenax does not contain glutamate which should be added for the initial culture (25µM). Before use, Neurogenax basic medium must be supplemented with serum or in the case of a serum free culture with Neurogenax 27. Neurogenax 27 (C4336.2010 is a concentrate (20X) for the serum free cultivation of neural cells in conjunction with Neurogenax basic medium.
