Die Genaxxon bioscience SuperHot Taq Polymerase ist eine chemisch modifizierte Form der thermostabilen Taq-Polymerase, die durch Hitze aktiviert wird. Da die chemische Modifikation die Taq-Polymerase bei niedrigen Temperaturen inhibiert, so dass es nicht zur Amplifikation von Primer-Dimeren und anderen Artefakten kommen kann. Durch dieses Verhalten wird vor allem die Spezifität gegenüber der normalen Taq stark verbessert. Zusätzlich können schwierige Templates mit z.B. hohem GC-Gehalt ebenfalls ohne Probleme amplifiziert werden. Durch die erhöhte Sensitivität werden auch die Ergebnisse bei Multiplexapplikationen besser. Da auch die Temperaturbeständigkeit gegenüber der Standard-Taq erhöht ist, können mit der SuperTaq mehrere PCR-Reaktionen in einem gefahren werden, was Zeit und Geld spart. | SuperHot Taq-Polymerase für qPCR 250 units |
