All Genaxxon filter tips are metal free and ideal for DNA amplification (PCR) and microbiological applications including the handling of radioactive, bio-hazardous and corrosive samples.

The very latest micropore technology is used to ensure that all aerosols and liquids are prevented from entering the pipettor. This technology eliminates the need for additives, found in self-sealing type filters (which also have the disadvantage of trapping samples in the tip once the filter has sealed). Genaxxon filter tips use virgin PE filters without additives (which would be a potential source of contamination), and their micropore technology ensures that the filters will never trap samples in the tip.
