Genaxxon bioscience Pwo DNA Polymerase ist eine thermostabile, hochprozessive 5' - 3' DNA Polymerase mit zusätzlicher 3' - 5' Exonucleaseaktivität (proof-reading). Die Genaxxon bioscience Pwo DNA Polymerase ist die rekombinante Form der ursprünglich aus dem thermophilen Archaebakterium Pyrococcus woesei beschriebenen Polymerase. Das entsprechende Gen wurde kloniert und in E.coli expremiert. Das Enzym hat keine nachweisbare 5' - 3' Exonucleaseaktivität.
