Anisomycin ist ein Antibiotika das die Proteinsynthese inhibiert. Es aktiviert p54, MAP Kinase und die stressaktivierte Proteinkinase. Anisomycin wirkt auch fungiziet und wird in Martin-Lewis Medium eingesetzt um das Wachstum von C. albicans zu unterbinden.
